Site Tour of Centrax Gas Turbines

The IMechE Devon and Cornwall Area Committee would like to invite you on a site tour of Centrax LTD.

Centrax create a series of high-efficiency gas turbine-powered generator packages to suit a wide range of industries and power applications.

Using core engines from Siemens Energy, their generator sets range in power output from 3 MW to 15 MW. They provide efficient, reliable energy supply, mainly for combined heat and power, but also in base load, simple cycle and standby applications.

From their base in Newton Abbot in South West England, the independent company employs approximately 250 people. They serve a diverse international market, delivering complete power generation solutions, from design and engineering to assembly and maintenance. they’re driven to provide world-class power generation.
