Nehman MUHAMMAD - Chair
Nehman特许工程师,与一个特定的interest in turbine technology, within the power and propulsion industry. He has contributed to many projects involving core turbine design (blading) while working for GE. Nehman started his career as a Thermo-Aerodynamics Engineer in 2008 after completing an MSc in Aerospace Propulsion from Cranfield University. In 2020, he joined Quality Engineering team with responsibility for UK and North Europe suppliers. He is enthusiastic and committed to promoting engineering to the next generation.

Howard WARRENER - Hon Secretary
Howard has held various steam turbine mechanical blade design and thermodynamic roles since the late 90’s when he first became part of the committee. He has several other community interests, and volunteers for some through his church. To relax, he likes cycling, rambling and building off-road cycle paths.

Daniel JAMES - Education Officer
As a Chartered Engineer since 2012, Daniel has developed a depth of experience in rotating machinery through a wide range of large-scale power projects, including oil and gas and renewables. Daniel is established as an independent consultant focused on international renewable projects across technology, finance and supply chain auditing. With three daughters, Daniel is a firm supporter of women in engineering and developing young people’s awareness of engineering via school events and as a STEM Ambassador. Daniel keeps fit and healthy, having hung up his rugby boots a few years ago, with running, triathlons and skiing.

Florin BARDES - Committee Member
Florin is a design engineer in the Vehicle Personalisation team at JLR Special Vehicle Operations. He has broad experience in the design of a wide range of products and he has extensive knowledge of product development, innovation, change, and process improvement. Florin is Professionally Registered and he actively promotes engineering to youngsters as a STEM Ambassador.
Sameer SHINH - Committee Member
Sameer is a Chartered Engineer working as a Lead Project Manager at Severn Trent Water. Sameer has previously worked for companies providing rotating equipment for the Power and Oil and Gas industries. He has a particular interest in contract management and dispute resolution in the construction and engineering sectors.
Diana TUDORACHE - Committee Member
Diana is a Data Analysis Specialist in the Engine Robustness and Functional Validation team at JLR within Powertrain Base Engines.
She has wide experience in electronic engineering, product development, function validation and training capabilities within the company and beyond, with interpersonal skills and openness to work effectively in team or group settings.
She has been promoting engineering to youngsters as a STEM ambassador since the start of 2018.
