    School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (SMME) - Islamabad
    The event took place on 7th of April, 2022. It had two modules, Aerogami and Glidiators. Aerogami focused on folding paper planes that covered the maximum distance while Glidiators required students to model gliders out of a limited list of materials.

  • Abul Kalam Design Challenge Nationals 2021

    The AKDC Nationals 2021 held on the 2nd of January, 2022. The event was held online due to COVID restrictions and had teams from all over Pakistan. The challenge was to design a vehicle that could go forward and retrace its path after doing that. The challenge was judged by a competent panel of Engineers. Dr. David Ball, the founder of the Design challenge, also graced the event as the Chief Guest, while Dr. Mohammed Uneeb served as the Contest Chair of the Design Challenge in Pakistan.

    The Recruitment and Orientation of 2021 involved attracting, interviewing and recruiting new council members for IMechE NUST Student Chapter, and giving them a proper orientation to welcome them into the society and introduce them to its structure, events and motives. A total of 55 new members were added to the society in Phase 1 of the drive.
