Graduated Bournemouth University in 2008 having successfully completed studying for a BSc (Hons) Design Engineering. I joined SPP Pumps in 2007 on placement as part of my sandwich degree, I continued to work for them during my final year in developing a prototype Vacuum Priming Unit, for the Water & Waste industry, this project led to me later being awarded Engineer of the Year at the British Pump Industry Awards in 2012.

During the next 15 years I have worked through a graduate training program, working in various departments, including a 3 month placement at SPP Pumps parent company facility in India. I was then promoted to team leader in the Energy sector, where to support the business in meeting the ISO 14001 requirements and out of personal interest, I volunteered to become the Environmental Manager alongside my Engineering Team Leader role. I complete an MSc in Engineering Management at the University of the West of England, I am now a Chartered Engineer and the Engineering Manager at SPP Pumps.
