Summary

Improve the efficiency of your business by understanding what additive manufacturing can do and how it can optimise your supply chain and manufacturing processes.

Learn about the seven key additive manufacturing processes such as stereolithography, material extrusion, materials jetting and powder bed fusion. Explore how the design and manufacturing choices you make can have an effect on the business including supply chain and product design.

Between the 2 sessions, you will be given an exercise to optimise a part design, before being shown how additive manufacturing can optimise the part even further.

Using everything you have learnt throughout the course, identify the key steps to evaluate the business model and develop a business case to integrate additive manufacturing into your business.
