Welcome to the Yorkshire Region Northern Area Young Member Panel

This site will be used to update you on events and activities being organised by the IMechE Yorkshire Northern Area YM Panel.

The Northern Area YM Panel covers the Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield and North Yorkshire areas. We are a committee of volunteer Young Members, who aim to represent and support apprentices, students, graduates, researchers and young engineers in the early stages of their engineering careers.

We are always looking for new committee members to join us at our monthly meetings. If you would be interested in joining the committee and getting involved with planning future events for Young Members in the local area, we would love to hear from you.

Don't know whether you are a Young Member or not? A Young Member of the IMechE is someone who has not achieved corporate membership status (Chartered, Incorporated, EngTech), or has been so for less than 10 years.
