Description
The Tees Valley is currently responsible for almost 50% of the UK’s production of hydrogen, with BOC’s Hydrogen plant presently the largest single hydrogen production plant. Innovation in the hydrogen economy from a production (blue and green hydrogen), transport, storage and distribution, usage (industry and home) of hydrogen, will ensure Teesside remains the centre of the UK Hydrogen Economy into the next decade.
The agenda will be finalised in coming weeks, with the above speakers to ensure we have a compelling event that helps engage with stakeholders across the Tees Valley, help SMEs and engineers be part of this hydrogen economy and share project insights and knowledge across the conference. The Tees Valley benefits from many of theattributes required for a leading clean hydrogen hub, including the concentration of industrial demand, existing infrastructure for hydrogen storage, existing gas pipeline infrastructure and most importantly a highly skilled people and supply chain to support the investment.
The IMechE Hydrogen Summit will be held on Thursday 16thFebruary 2023 between 1pm and 5pm, at Wilton Centre, Wilton, Redcar, TS10 4RF.The event is being supported by the IMechE Teesside Committee and industrial sponsors, to ensure it is kept free to attend and open to everyone (there is a capacity limit for the venue).
Registration is required and essential.Registration Link:
