Welcome to the Midlands Centre of the Railway Division
As your new Chairman I would like to welcome you all to our programme for the 2023-2024 session.
We will continue to hold all of our meetings as 'live' events, as we believe that this provides the best opportunity for attendees to network with their industry colleagues.
For this year we are starting our meetings slightly earlier at 17:00 for teas and coffees with the lectures starting at 17:30 prompt.
This year our main venue will be East Midlands Railway's Locomotive House, but the November meeting will be at the Railway Technical Centre and the December meeting is joint with the Derby Railway Engineering Society at the Derby Conference Centre, so please check the website and event posters for exact details.
Unfortunately there is no parking at East Midlands Railway's Locomotive House, however parking has been kindly made available by surrounding businesses. Details of parking arrangements will be included for each event, and circulated via email and on the RD Midlands LinkedIn page. Feel free to contact us should you have any questions.
As always, the committee and I would like to receive any feedback you may have regarding the lectures we have planned.
Thanks
Martin
