Welcome to the Worcester Area

On behalf of the Worcester area committee, I would like to welcome all IMechE members and their guests to our activities. The committee organises a broad range of technical lectures, site visits and social events, intended to appeal to engineers and their friends and family.

Our mission on behalf of the national organisation is to promote the Institution and mechanical engineering in general, following the Institution’s themes of Energy, Environment, Transport, Manufacturing and Education. We are eager to encourage teachers and their students to understand engineering and consider the profession as a career.

Please visit our website regularly to stay up to date with events and to book places.

We would welcome your input to guide our planning. If you have any comments, or would be free to help our committee, please feel free tocontact me, or any other committee memberby e-mail or phone.
