    Wroxeter Vineyard - Shrewsbury
    Wroxeter Roman Vineyard was planted in 1991. It nestles in the foothills of the Wrekin on a sandy plateau of the Roman City of Viroconium, enjoying a special micro-climate. The vineyard is 4 miles East of Shrewsbury. The vineyard grows wines including white, red, rose and sparkling, all to a quality standard. The wines have achieved international recognition and the vineyard and wines rank in the top number of vineyards in the UK.
