The primary objective of this competition is to promote the art of communication of the mechanical engineering discipline and sub disciplines effectively. SOFE offers the entrants the opportunity to give an oral presentation on a subject related to mechanical engineering and compete for a cash prize of up to £300 with the winner moving on to participate at the Global Finals.
