LAB comprises three main components: lead\, acid\, and plast ic which are separable and recyclable. At the end of its life cycle\, wast e LAB (WLAB) becomes a toxic and corrosive chemical waste and requires pro per treatment. Any improper disposal of WLAB can cause long-term devastati ng consequences for rural soil and water systems\, particularly in densely populated cities such as Hong Kong.\n\nHKBR is the one and only legal bat tery recycling plant in Hong Kong that provides a complete local process f rom collection to recycling of WLAB. Deploying state-of-the-art technology to ensure a safe\, efficient\, and environmentally friendly solution\, as well as fully compliant with the Basel Convention and Waste Disposal Ordi nance (Cap. 354) (&ldquo\;WDO&rdquo\;) of Hong Kong.
