Central is the central business district of Hong Kong. It is located on the northern shore of Hong Kong Island and is one of the most important financial and commercial institutions. Central also has a rich historical background, for instance, Tai Kwun. Engineering has been improving the world in Hong Kong for decades, as a young generation we share the
responsibility to build new innovations to make our city vibrant and lovely, but before all, it is crucial to learn about how our seniors did in the past to learn about their achievements and see applicable parts at the current time. In particular, three engineering highlight sites have been featured to encourage the understanding and learning of great, memorable, and important engineering development in Hong Kong, and celebrate the professionalism of Hong Kong engineers through the education and background built during their time under education from the UK government, symbolising the inclusion of different cultures in the city in the form of engineering creations.
